Legislative Policy

In Sacramento and Washington, water policy is as fast-moving as it is complex. During any given legislative session, dozens of bills concerning nearly every water issue are rapidly making their way through the various levels of the legislative process.

On a regular basis, important state and federal policy have the potential to greatly impact the landscape of California water issues. In many cases, meticulous bill tracking and real-time collaborative advocacy decisions are required to keep our efforts on track.

SCWC arms our members with the information and influence they need to stay ahead of the state and federal legislative cycles. Through this effort, SCWC maximizes the quality of the legislative information we provide our members, and exerts the powerful influence of consensus on the movers and shakers of state and federal government.
