On Tuesday, December 10, the Metropolitan Water District board overwhelmingly voted to continue the Delta Conveyance Project. An impressive 98.76% of the weighted vote supported this initiative, underscoring its critical importance.

The commitment of those who sent letters and spoke at hearings was crucial, with 36 speakers advocating for the DCP during these pivotal discussions, compared to just 15 opposed, highlighting our community’s dedication to securing a sustainable water future.
