In light of the COVID-19 health emergency, the Southern California Water Coalition will deliver its April 2020 Quarterly Luncheon as a digital event in lieu of an in-person gathering.
Our April 30 webinar on “Trust Matters” featured an expert panel to discuss risk and crisis communications best practices. Discover how water agencies, nonprofits and other organizations are using these to build and maintain reputations as a trusted sources within their communities.
The new webinar was the first in SCWC’s new “What Matters” webinar series, designed to provide online exchanges of best practices as water and power utilities, nonprofits, businesses and others grapple with changes to the way we live, work and deliver services.
The April 30 webinar took place from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Speakers are:

- Patty Cortez, Director of Government and Community Affairs, Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District
- Kaylee Weatherly, Public Information Officer, Long Beach Water Department
